Is there something more to life than we can see?

1 Cor. 13:12 "For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then we will see face to face. Now I know only in part; then I will know fully, even as I have been fully known." I find it curious and compelling that this verse, which the King James version of the Bible renders so poetically as "now we see through a glass darkly," is embedded in a discussion of spiritual gifts, and in particular, the spiritual gift of love. Paul declares that love is a "greater gift" and a "more excellent way," something followers of Jesus should strive for.
